9月19日，烏斯坦挪威船廠與船東Nexans Marine Operations AS簽訂一艘鋪纜船的新造合同。
該船船長149.9m，型寬31m，動態(tài)定位DP3，住艙人數(shù)90人，具備13500t載纜和鋪纜能力，其中主甲板上纜框承載能力為10000t，甲板下3500t，另外還配備450t的光纜纜框。該船為長距離鋪纜而設(shè)計，能夠滿足多種海底電纜的鋪設(shè)和維修。
烏斯坦船廠于2021年向船東Nexans Marine Operations AS交付鋪纜船Nexans Aurora，本次合同將要建造的新船在Nexans Aurora基礎(chǔ)上做了升級設(shè)計，將更適合惡劣海況的施工作業(yè)。兩艘船都由Skipsteknisk公司設(shè)計。
